DS Homebrew – Donkey Kong II for DS

Donkey Kong is one of those classic games that folks just don’t get tired playing. Now, thanks to Martin, you can now play Donkey Kong II on your DS handhelds.

Says the developer, this port of the Game & Watch title is still in its demo stages, and you can’t die yet. Woot for immortality! However, as it is in its development stages, then it’s highly likely that there are a lot of bugs here. But that shouldn’t keep you from trying out the game, right?

Here are the controls:

• Press Start to restart the game.
• Press Y to toggle LCD modus. This puts in a little extra retro touch.
• Press A to jump.
• Use the controlpad to move Junior around.
