Square Enix announces partnership with Matsushita
The gaming industry is always welcome to “new and highly accessible forms of entertainment”…hence, the partnership between Matsushita and Square Enix. Square Enix, the Japanese videogame-maker of popular titles such as the Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest series, lends its geniuses to Japanese elctronics maker Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., maker of Panasonic brand products, in creating a software that will make linking consumer products such as digital TVs, DVD recorders, portable music players, mobile phones and video game consoles easier.
The Matsushita-Square Enix collaboration is actually ideal: Square Enix’s superior graphics and embedded software technology complements Matsushita’s excellent delivery of consumer goods. Square Enix president Yoichi Wada also promises that the partnership will bring better content both for game consoles and consumer electric products in the future.
