Rumor: BottleRocket working on Flash superhero title
Electronic Gaming Monthly‘s resident rumor master, Quartermann, has alluded to the possibility of a new game featuring DC hero The Flash. Details after the jump!
Electronic Gaming Monthly‘s resident rumor master, Quartermann, has alluded to the possibility of a new game featuring DC hero The Flash. Quartermann says thus in the latest EGM issue:
Mark of Kri masterminds BottleRocket have their hands full trying to get Namco BandaiÂ’s Splatterhouse reboot in presentable shape (itÂ’s currently looking awfullyÂ…brown), but thatÂ’s not stopping them from crafting a game based on a certain fleet-footed DC superhero. Forging a compelling Flash game wonÂ’t be an easy task.
Sounds cool, seeing as how I can’t recall any good Flash-centric games lately. Yeah, the guy’s in Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) and DC Universe Online (PC, PlayStation 3), but as far as I know, the last Flash game was for the GBA.
Incidentally, one of the Quartermann rumors in this issue – the LittleBigPlanet PSP one – has already been confirmed. Here’s hoping that this one not only turns out to be true, but ends up as a good game as well.
