Video game voice actor got shot in Mumbai attacks, now recovering
Canadian voice actor Michael Rudder was among the many who were injured during the attacks in Mumbai. We all heard what happened as insurgents thrashed Mumbai, leaving at least a hundred people dead, and several others injured. One of those who were injured was Michael Rudder, who suffered three gunshot wounds. Thanks to prompt medical attention and surgery, he’s now out of harm’s way and is recovering.
The Canadian voice actor was in the restaurant of the Oberoi hotel when the militants attacked. After getting hit, he was “take to the hospital. He did have surgery [that was] very successful,” said Bobbie Garvey, VP of the US-based Synchronicity Foundation. “He was in intensive care for a while, but he is very stable and he is healing at the moment.”
