A small warning to people who were thinking of getting Higurashi Daybreak for the PSP: you’d better have a healthy tolerance for loading times. Myself, I’ve always thought I had a respectable amount of patience. Perhaps I was wrong… or perhaps this game is indeed, load time hell.

Judge for yourselves (note 1:18):

Cavia, inc, was the developer who ported Higurashi Daybreak from the PC. The port comes with several extra features not present in the original, including new storylines for Hanyuu and Natsumi. It’s not a bad game, per se, but I’d trade all those extra bits for the 40 seconds of my life lost during those loading screens.
