No new Xbox in the near future, Microsoft sticking with the 360
The original Xbox was released on 2001, which was followed four years later by the 360 in 2005. It’s now 2009, a brand new year. Will we see a brand new Xbox model anytime soon?
Nope, says Microsoft‘s Robbie Bach.

Nope, says Microsoft‘s Robbie Bach.
Down at CES, Bach explains that they’ll be sticking with this gen of the Xbox for longer than they did with the original one, since it’s getting harder to get consumers to upgrade. Instead of rushing out with a new model, they’ll be focusing on improving the console’s games and features.
So many potshots I can shoot at Microsoft here, but we all already know what happened last time they rushed to bring their console to the public, so let’s just breathe a sigh of relief at the news and leave it at that.
