A Japanese coder has released a bunch of new drivers that should let you use your PS3’s DualShock 3 controller on your PC. While there are already drivers out there that let you do this, this particular release enables the controller’s rumble function.
This release also enables full plug and play support for the controller, so you don’t need to run any apps every time you want to plug your DualShock 3 into your PC and use it.
The whole thing is in Japanese, but Janglez311, who sent us the tip along with tcraw77813 (thanks guys!), has made the following tutorial video that deals with installing and configuring the drivers. You can also check out an installation tutorial here.
