Resident Evil 5 TGS ’08 extended alternate trailer (direct-feed this time)
Yes, yes, I know it’s old but here me out for a bit. Remember the very first TGS 2008 trailer that we posted for Resident Evil 5? This one’s different. Isaac posted this same vid before, but that was bootleg off-cam footage. Nice to finally see this one get a crisper version. Also, given the couple few interesting bits of information we’ve heard recently, seeing this video once again brings up a lot of interesting things… Not to mention ominous tombstones, cheesy lines, and tentacle bosses. Yes, there are two tentacle bosses, actually.

Also, given the couple few interesting bits of information we’ve heard recently, seeing this video again brings up a lot of familiar elements. Of course, aside from the big shocker of Jill Valentine’s tombstone, other things to note in the trailer:
- the Tyrant-in-training tentacle boss
- more cheesy quotable quotes from a teleporting Albert Wesker (“Time to die, Chris!“)
- the zombie butcher’s M-rating
- the huge zombie kraken that gives tentacle boss a run for its money
- a mysterious bed of flowers – presumably used for *ahem* pharmaceutical purposes
Capcom‘s Resident Evil 5 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 is to be released on March 13.
