Gleam – Lumines clone
UberNoob (AkumaATR) from our forums has released a new GBA homebrew game called Gleam. At first looks, many PSP fans can tell you that it is a clone of the very successful Lumines puzzle game. I myself enjoyed Lumines as much as the classic Tetris games and found myself playing it hours at a time. Gleam shares the same great gameplay of Lumines and is one of the best clones I have seen so far. This game runs on the GBA and the NDS (with homebrew tools) and contains 8 levels with some very nice music made by Madsoul. The author of this game did a great job, from gameplay to the title. Gleam and Lumines are very similar seeing how Gleam means something shiny, bright, while Lumines (Luminous) means bright, full of colors. The object of the game is to get the high score or beat all of the levels. The game plays just like Lumines, clearing 2×2 blocks when the line passes over them.
