Gitaroo-Man Headed to the PSP!
IGN claims that Sony’s Japanese retail site has Gitaroo-Man Live! slated for release in Japan on May 25, 2006. For those of you who don’t know, Gitaroo-Man is a dancing/rhythm game somewhat similar to DDR that debuted on the PS2 back in 2000. In the PSP version, the KOEI hopes to deliver a more balanced gameplay experience that isn’t too harsh on slow learners. There will be ad-hoc competitive modes available along with a cooperative duet mode too, so this won’t just be a direct port. Although there’s no plans for a release in the States just yet, chances are if the game sells well in Japan we can also expect a version to be released in America.
