Monster Hunter Freedom Unite coming August 4, says Gamestop
There you have it: Monster Hunter Freedom Unite will finally be hitting North America on August 4 according to Gamestop. But… wait… does that mean there’s a delay? Last we heard, it was supposed to be out Spring of this year.

Usually, these shipping dates from retail stores have a “tentative” label attached to them, and without any official confirmation from the developer or publisher, we can’t call it an absolute announcement just yet.
Nonetheless, here it is: Monster Hunter Freedom Unite will finally be hitting North America on August 4 according to Gamestop. Given MHP 2nd G‘s renowned success in Japan, this localized version will surely make waves once released to the waiting fans.
Now August 4 seems to be a bit of a stretch. As announced before, the game was scheduled for a Sping ’09 release window for both US and Europe. Seeing it now with an August 4 tentative release indicates a delay, but again, without any word from Capcom, this remains unconfirmed.
