Not about to rest on their laurels, Ensemble Studios adds another halo to their Halo franchise as Halo Wars adds another accolade to an already-long list after having reached one million copies of the game. Solid!

Not only did it break the one million mark, it’s also become the best-selling Real-Time Strategy title now. The game was released only last February 26. Three weeks later and with numbers like this, that’s really an accomplishment!

Other cool stats for the game:

• There have been more than 2.6 million multiplayer matches played
• More than 118 years of time has been spent in multiplayer matches on Xbox LIVE
• On average, more than 200,000 “Halo Wars” fans have taken up arms in battles between the UNSC and Covenant each day

They’re not about to stop there, though. Reports have it that  Microsoft is now working closely with Robot Entertainment for more Halo Wars content, so do watch out for that.
