PlayTV Patch 1.10 released
Version 1.10 is now out for the PlayStation 3 European digital TV add-on, PlayTV. This patch brings a hefty bunch of new additions, particularly the automatic upscaling from SD to HD. More update details after the jump.
Version 1.10 is now out for the PlayStation 3 European digital TV add-on, PlayTV. This patch brings a hefty bunch of new additions, particularly the automatic upscaling from SD to HD.
Other enhancements include volume control with the official PS3 Blu-ray remote and audio normalization. This would be similar to the feature added to music playback in FW 2.70, if you’ll remember.
And then there’s also that new option for you to go directly into TV mode from the XMB. Now you won’t have to go back and forth to the PlayTV menus. Playback’s also been tweaked a bit, providing for a slightly better handling for rewind and fastforward action. New speeds have also been added.
