Electronic Arts has just recently revealed a PSP version of their upcoming hack n’ slasher Dante’s Inferno (also on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC), and now we have a few more tidbits to share with you about the game.

Canadian studio Artificial Mind and Movement (or A2M) is developing the game using a PSP-specific engine, but it’s essentially a straight conversion of the PS3 version — only with scaled down graphics, of course.

An early version of the game’s first was also showcased during a recent EA event in London. According to Pocket Gamer, the demo featured stuff we also saw in the previews for the home console versions: grotesque environments and enemies, fast-paced combo action, the increasingly ubiquitous QTEs, and huge, hulking sub-bosses that make one wonder just how big the main bosses are.

For the more technical-minded, the game’s current form runs at 35 to 60 FPS. There were also come problems noted about the collision detection and clipping, but producer Wes Culver says that they’re still just a couple of months into development so these should be ironed out by launch time. This is definitely a game to keep your eye on.
