There’s a new post on the US PlayStation blog clarifying some concerns about the download-only US version of Patapon 2. First, the price. Apparently, I got it wrong in my last Patapon 2-related post. The non-retail PSN download version isn’t US$ 15 but US$ 19.99, same as the in-store retail version.
It’s also a one-time purchase. Once you buy and download the game, you’ll be able to download it off the PlayStation Store again for free no matter how many times you download and erase it. Of course, all the downloads will be tied to the PSN ID that you used to redeem or buy the game the first time around.
For those who haven’t yet experienced the Euro version of Patapon 2, here’s a new video showing off the game’s multiplayer aspect. Interesting to note that the Paraget is now called the Patagate. I wonder if they fixed up the Euro version’s other awkward-sounding translations too.
