No game demo in Ghostbusters Blu-ray movie
A recent product listing on UK online retailer ShopTo indicates that the upcoming Blu-ray release of the original Ghostbusters movie will include a demo for Atari‘s game. Though the listing is for the UK version of the Blu-ray disc, we do have confirmation that this will not be the case for North America. Atari US has already blasted the rumor into itty-bitty ectoplasmic bits.

There could be a chance though that the demo will be available with the Blu-ray movie in UK, or perhaps only as an exclusive promo package via ShopTo.
Well, whether there will be differences in regional releases of the Blu-ray movie’s contents, it doesn’t really matter considering a demo has already been confirmed to be released on PSN and XBL this June.
There’s been no specific dates for the demo yet, but some say it could be June 8, which coincides with the exact date the movie first hit theaters 25 years ago. (And it also happens to be my birthday too!)
Atari’s Ghostbusters: The Video Game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS gets released on June 16, simultaneously with the Blu-ray movie on the same day.
