It’s official: Ghostbusters PSP announced
Who’s afraid of no ghosts? The PSP is! Yeah, originally, planned only for all major platforms (read ’em and weep ’em, kids: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, PC), Ghostbusters is now also confirmed for the PSP. Quite a stark difference we heard from Atari just last month when they confirmed that any plans for a Ghostbusters PSP release were busted. And yet now, they’re announcing it? Whoa. Scheduled already for an autumn release this year too! Double whoa.

This following the announcement of Dante’s Inferno and Tekken 6 for Sony‘s handheld – not to mention all those other first-party IPs heading for the PSP (LBP, MotorStorm, etc.) – this year, beyond a doubt, is surely shaping to be PSP’s year.
Atari’s press release doesn’t have much details on the PSP version for Ghostbusters, only that it will be released in the UK and PAL territories some time autumn of this year. All other platform releases already have a scheduled date of June 16, with a demo some time next month.
Damn, I hope this has multiplayer for 4 via ad-hoc or something. Wouldn’t that be awesome?! Gino D. gets dibs on controlling geeky Egon Spengler!
(Or Slimer, if possible)
