Sony denies plans of redesigning the PS3
From bulky to sexy – we’ve seen it happen before with the PSOne and the PS2. That probably fueled the PS3 redesign rumors that have been going around, especially after PlayStation Lifestyle reported that the PSP Go! won’t be the only hardware redesign announcement from Sony at E3. But just like the White Dualshock 3 controllers, Sony denies this one, leaving us guessing as to what’s gonna come out on E3.

Sony UK told CVG that they “currently don’t have any plans for a redesigned PS3,” so there go the rumors. While “currently” is a word I’d like them to qualify, we can probably say goodbye to a slim PS3 on E3. Sony loves redesigning its goodies though, so it’s probably just a matter of waiting for a fresh new look for the PS3.
