Wii homebrew: Freespace 2 Wii Beta 2

Another great looking game has been ported to the Nintendo Wii courtesy of homebrew developer litghost. Freespace 2 Wii is a direct port of the 1999 space combat simulation computer game Freespace 2. The new beta update has added new features for the game.

Here’s the list of changes from the first release to Beta 2:

Beta 2 (5/17/09)

• Now supports PAL resolution
• Pilot files can now be recognized if they are copied in Windows

Beat 1 (5/17/09)

• Fixed line width and point size code
• Fixed exit code

Beta 0 (5/17/09)

• Initial release
