The Wii’s not about to be left out of Bethesda‘s plans for this year if everything goes well according to plan. In an interview with GamesIndustry, the company said that they do have something big lined up for the Wii later on.
Asked if they see a market for mature products like House of the Dead and Mad World on the Wii, Europe managing director Sean Brennan replied:
We are going to make an announcement on a really big Wii game this year, we’ve got a couple other things in the pipeline, and it’s a format we’re really looking at with the right approach. We’re not going to establish a new range and call it “My Girly Game Range” or whatever these other companies are doing, it’s so me-too and boring.
It was not established though whether or not they will be creating the game themselves or if they will be merely publishing it. Guess we’ll just have to find out later on in the year to see what this is.
