Swine flu strikes again. The threat posed by the H1N1 virus has resulted in Square Enix and Koei cutting the number of their staff attending this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.
According to a report from Develop, Square Enix has canceled the E3 attendance of its Kingdom Hearts team. Meanwhile, an unspecified number of Koei’s Japanese staff have pulled out of the event. Both companies’ US- and Europe-based staff, however, will still be in attendance.
Sony and Nintendo, however, revealed that the Swine Flu will not be affecting the number of their respective Japanese retinues.
