Capcom releasing over ten iPhone games this fiscal year
With two games already available from the Apple App Store, Capcom is planning to further expand its presence in the iPhone gaming scene. According to the company’s CFO, iPhone and iPod Touch owners can expect more Capcom games for their Apple handhelds to be released in the coming months.
With two games already available from the Apple App Store, Capcom is planning to further expand its presence in the iPhone gaming scene. During the Reuters Global Technology Summit in Tokyo, the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Kazuhiko Abe, revealed that it plans to launch over ten titles for the iPhone and iPod Touch by March 2010.
Capcom started making inroads into iPhone gaming back in March with Mega Man 2. Last week, an action game based on Resident Evil: Degeneration was released on the App Store. The company has yet to detail what its next iPhone game will be, but chances are it’ll once again be from one of their established franchises.
