Those who felt that cutting the nudity out of The Witcher was a big blow to horny couch potatoes creativity can now breathe a sigh of relief – CD Projekt is excited to announce The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director’s Cut, which is basically a North American release of the Euro version, so you can now enjoy the full game and some full frontal right in the comfort of your gaming rig.
The Director’s Cut will be available for download through TheWitcher.com, Steam, Impulse, and Direct2Drive as a patch for those who already have Enhanced Edition – free of charge. But if you still don’t have the game yet and you’re getting it via digital download, the existing Enhanced Edition wherever available will be replaced by the Director’s Cut upon release – needless to say, this isn’t a patch and won’t be for free.
Director’s Cut will include all the features of patch 1.5, such as additional adventures and fixes for EAX issues and blurred graphics. If you’re curious, the new release will be rated M by the ESRB for blood and gore, strong language, violence, and yes, nudity and strong sexual content.
There’s still no word on the release date, but CD Projekt intends to make the announcement in the coming days.
