Tsubasa Chronicle Vol. 2 for the DS Released in Japan; Release Date for Other Regions Still Undisclosed
This is the second adaptation of the very popular Clamp manga and anime titled Tsubasa Chonicle. The characters in the Tsubasa anime are based from Card Captor Sakura characters. Shaoran and Sakura are still the main characters both in the Tsubasa Chronicle Vol. 2 game created by Cavia and in the anime version. Shaoran and Sakura travel in different worlds to retrieve the missing memory fragments of Sakura.
The first game adaptation of the anime made use of the dual-screen – the top screen displays the event scenes while the touch screen displays a map that the player should need for this Fantasy RPG. The Tsubasa Chronicle Vol. 2 game, however, are expected to have many improvements as this is going to be released in other regions too within the year (Japan release date is April 20).
The competitive wireless-play connect mode where players can challenge other players to a card game is still expected to be available in the Tsubasa Chronicle Vol. 2 game.
This game’s already gone on sale in Japan. No word yet, though, as to when it might hit other countries or regions.
