iPod Touch, iPhone game: Words With Friends
Newtoy released yet another With Friends title into the App Store, to follow the launch of Chess With Friends. This new game features the same format where you play Scrabble instead in four different multiplayer game modes, hence its name, Words With Friends. More details after the jump.

Using MMS or email notifications on your iPhone, the game lets you know if it’s your turn. One game may take a long while to progress, so it’s a good thing that you could have multiple games active at a time. Push notifications have not been implemented yet, but Touch Arcade reports that a Tweet from Newtoy indicates that the feature will come to Chess With Friends, so the same may be said about Words.
Just like Chess, Words With Friends is basically free of charge – not as a Lite version. There is, however, a ninety-nine cent Premium Version, in case you want to do away with the in-game ads.
