Bungie: Reach will (probably) be the last for Halo from us
Fans of the Halo franchise might want to get their grubby hands on Halo: Reach as this might be the last game they’ll ever get from Bungie for the series. Senior Designer Lars Bakken said that Reach will “most likely” be their last 360 Halo game.

Bakken disclosed in an interview with CVG:
In terms of a platform for Halo games made by Bungie, yes. I can’t answer that question for Microsoft though. Whether they have something in the works or not, I don’t know if they’re actually ready to talk about it yet, but in terms of Bungie-produced Halo games, ODST and then Reach is probably all you’re going to get.
He also gave an update on the development of ODST, saying that it’s already done. “From our standpoint, we had to get it done and get everybody working on Halo: Reach. Looking at the portfolio as a whole and the title roll out, this coming September is the right time for [ODST‘s release].
