THQ’s Farrell: Natal is launching ‘late next year’
Microsoft has not given out a specific launch date for Natal, and yet here we have Brian Farrell of THQ proclaiming that the motion-sensing unit will be out by “late next year.” Can he back up this talk with the walk?

Farrell’s statements were made at THQ’s Q1 earnings call, in response to a query regarding the industry’s state and the immortal price cut issue. Apart from saying that Natal will be coming out in 2010, he also said that it will be a new 360 motion-sensing unit, pretty much like what Steve Ballmer said previously, which caused a major ruckus in the MS offices.
Looks like Farrell also was confused with the wordings as Ballmer had already retracted his description of Natal and has in fact apologized for the confusion.
