It’s been more than a year since Metal Gear Solid 4 launched but it still remains without Trophy support despite repeated requests from fans. Konami says that they’re listening, but they just don’t have anything concrete to announce yet.
In the latest Kojima Productions podcast, Sean Eyestone repeatedly assured fans of the game that their requests have reached Konami’s collective ears:
I just wanna tell everybody out there right now that your voices are being heard and that weÂ’re not ignoring you. We hear everything that you are saying. ItÂ’s just that we canÂ’t say anything just yet.
But as soon as we have something to say, we will announce it. So, if we can just ask everyone to just be patient, we will give you an answer. But right now we canÂ’t say anything. So we just ask for everyoneÂ’s understanding with that and just ask for everybody to remain patient and weÂ’ll let you know.
So there you have it. Seems like MGS4 Trophies are only a matter of time. You can listen to the podcast by clicking on the Via link. The Trophies part is at the 10:35 mark.
