Persona also requires PSP Firmware 5.55

Yup it’s true, aside from Evangelion: Jo, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Tales of VS, the upcoming Shin Megami Tensei: Persona for the PSP will also be carrying the official firmware 5.55 when it comes out in September.  Want some proof? Hit the link.

Gaming website Siliconera has managed to to grab an early build of the PSP remake of Persona and look what they found, the disc also comes with a mandatory update to OFW 5.55. It seems Sony is really determined to introduce a new anti-CFW feature on their continuing drive against homebrews. But you know the scene, they won’t take this lying down. Stay tune.
