Quantic Dream: Still plenty of room for visual improvements in Heavy Rain
As it is, Heavy Rain is looking mighty impressive. However – and by this we know for sure that they are not just a mediocre developer – Quantic Dream is saying that they can do so much more in improving the game’s visuals.
As it is, Heavy Rain is looking mighty impressive. However – and by this we know for sure that they are not just a mediocre developer – Quantic Dream is saying that they can do so much more in improving the game’s visuals.
CEO David Cage said that the PS3 has yet to fulfill its power’s capabilities, and therefore there’s so much room for improvement.
Well, you need to keep in mind that Heavy Rain is our first title on PS3. It’s not the second or third generation of games on the same platform. We’ve discovered the platform right now. So yeah, there’s plenty of room for improvement I’m sure.
At Quantic Dream we know we can do much better than what we do here.
And that’s what separates the good devs from the great devs. We’re definitely looking forward to what else QD can and will do with the PS3. Heavy Rain comes out 2010.
