Apple Insider is “independently confirming” that there will be a media event happening on Wednesday, September 9th, hosted by Apple, for them to launch their new lines of iPods, along with a bevy of other music-related announcements.
For this event, Apple is expected to introduce new versions of iPod nano and iPod touch, which will both reportedly feature new point-and-shoot cameras. But that’s not all. Many are also abuzz that Apple just might introduce a variety of new social networking features.
Still not sure on whether or not the event will be hosted yet again at San Francisco‘s Yerba Buena Center, but given the proximity of the event, we’re assuming confidently that more details will be trickling out soon enough.
