Wolfenstein August sales goal missed

There seem to be many misplaced ideas in that singular context. First of all, Madden NFL 10 is a sports title – a very strong one at that. Wolfenstein is an FPS. They’re from different leagues; why pit the one against the other? Secondly, if you have to lure your audience with cash reimbursement just so they’d buy the game, then it just doesn’t show your confidence in the game itself.

As it stands, the gamed did not even make it to the top ten of of NPD‘s August sales results. Long story short, Madden NFL 10 scored touchdown by miles from Wolfenstein and, well, let’s just say nobody’s getting that reimbursement.
