TGS 2009: Capcom to bring untitled Ghouls ‘n Ghosts / Ghosts ‘n Goblins version for iPhone

iPhone logo - Image 1Capcom just can’t seem to get enough of the iPhone as they announced yet another offering for it at the recently concluded Tokyo Game Show 2009. If you miss the classic Ghosts ‘n Goblins and would like to see it modernized on the iPhone, or, say, the Ghosts n’ Goblins remake for the PSP, then you’re gonna get it — or at least a version of it specifically made for Apple’s wonder mobile.

No title yet was given out, though, so for now we’ll just have to refer to it as the Gn’G iPhone version. They did say, though, that this version will be using 3D models, while sticking to the good old 2D side-scrolling action gameplay. It also “seems as if you can choose between two initial protagonists at the game’s outset, ‘Arthur’ and ‘Lancelot.'”

We’ll just have to wait for Capcom to release more info regarding this game, like release date and pricing, but at least you have something new to look forward to from Capcom to your iPhone.
