Curt Schilling’s 38 Studios working on PS3 RPG
Yes, that Curt Schilling. The former Red Sox pitcher. In case you didn’t know, he’s an MMO fan whose love for gaming eventually spawned the development company 38 Studios, formerly called Green Monster Games. Now word is that 38 Studios is going to put out an RPG for Sony‘s big black machine.

A pair of job listings spotted by PS3center provide first evidence of 38 Studios’ PS3 project. The first listing is for a Senior PS3 Programmer with at least one AAA PS3 title under his or her belt. The second is for a Lead Art Director for the studio’s PS3 RPG project.
Both listings are for Big Huge Games, which 38 Studios acquired back in May. Big Huge is known for RTS titles mostly, but they did have a multiplatform RPG called Ascendant in development before the acquisition. Perhaps they’re ready to start working on that now. If not, this could be for a PS3 port of 38’s “Copernicus” MMO.
