We didn’t think there could be any bigger news this week than the release of Modern Warfare 2. Apparently, we were all wrong. Dead wrong. Modern Warfare 2‘s thunder-stealer: Microsoft’s banhammer.

The whole Xbox 360 industry kept their eyes tightly locked to the unfolding development since news broke out of the ban wave that Microsoft unleashed against modded Xbox 360s and their unsuspecting owners. From desperate ones selling their tainted wares online to a breakthrough quickfix, it sure has been a week that everyone can learn a lesson or two from.
