Heads up, Steam users! A new client update has been released. The latest update fixes the Left 4 Dead 2 gift issue, steam client display bugs, improves the game installation progress display and fixes some game update issues.
Heads up, Steam users! A new client update has been released. The latest update fixes the Left 4 Dead 2 gift issue, steam client display bugs, improves the game installation progress display and fixes some game update issues.
Changelog:
- Fixed Left 4 Dead 2 gifts not showing up in recipients games list until after redemption via email even if sent directly to the account
- Fixed steam client displaying “scanning for updates” while decrypting newly unlocked content
- Prevent client from displaying or allowing a user to select an unavailable language for a game
- Improve game installation progress display
- Fixed games sometimes spuriously launching after they get updated
