John Woo would like to make another game, Stranglehold movie in the works
Celebrated action film director John Woo has expressed his desire to make another video game following 2007’s Stranglehold, the video game sequel to one of Woo’s most famous films, Hard Boiled. Fans might not have to wait for another game to get their Tequila fix, however, as apparently they’re making Stranglehold itself into a movie.

In an interview with Cinematical, Woo revealed that as busy as he is right now, he’d still like to revisit the realm of video games. “I don’t have that much time, even though I want to make one again,” he said. “But for the moment, I also am producing two movies. One is shooting in Taiwan. One is shooting in Shanghai. So I am quite busy these days.”
I guess that means we’ll have to wait longer for another dose of Tequila Time. Tequila the character, on the other hand, could be headed for the silver screen once again. In the same interview, Woo was quick to point out that they’re making Stranglehold the game into a movie.
