Codemasters is letting everyone know that a new Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising DLC pack is going live on the Marketplace today. PS3 and PC gamers will have to wait a bit.
The second DRagon Rising pack, Overwatch, sports a pair of new multiplayer modes. In Blindside, the PLA must complete objectives in the shortest time possible while the USMC defends. In Supremacy, opposing forces must occupy strategic positions featuring force multipliers like gun emplacements and air strikes.
Overwatch also adds to new Fire Team Engagement missions to the game: Friendly Skies and Hostile Takeover. In the former, players have to neutralize PLA anti-aircraft artillery to allow reinforcements to be inserted into the combat zone. The latter has gamers flushing out the PLA from the village of Armudan to establish a perimeter and hold their ground against a new enemy assault.
The Overwatch pack will be available from the Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 MS Points today and will be available on the PlayStation Network and PC soon. PC gamers will get it for free while PS3 owners will have to shell out GB£ 3.19 / US$ 4.99 / € 3.99.
