Magic Ball upgrades to Magic Orbz with DLC this week

“What was once Magic Ball is now MAGIC ORBZ!” says Scott Hyman of Creat Studios, informing us of the Winter Pack DLC coming to PSN later this week. Yes, Magic Ball just got an awesome new pack and an even more awesome new name that comes with a “z” at the end so you know it’s the shiznit.

Lame humor aside, Magic Ball really is an awesome game, as with other products of the Creat Studios and Tik Games union. Apart from the name change, Magic Orbz will add extra Trophies, 25 new levels, voice chat, and the usual online multiplayer. The DLC will be available this Thursday along with the regular PlayStation Store update, priced at US$ 2.99.

In the meantime, those who already have Magic Ball can fire it up right now to get the patch, which, uhh, changez the game’z name.
