Survey hints at Dead Space Extraction HD, Planet Cracker game
It seems the months before Dead Space 2 may still hold something new for fans of the Visceral franchise. A recent survey suggests that a downloadable HD version of the Wii exclusive Dead Space Extraction may be in the works along with something called Planet Cracker.
It seems the months before Dead Space 2 may still hold something new for fans of the Visceral franchise. A recent survey suggests that a downloadable HD version of the Wii exclusive Dead Space: Extraction may be in the works along with something called Planet Cracker.
Kotaku reports that the survey describes the possible PS3 and Xbox 360 ports of Dead Space: Extraction as having similar on-rails gameplay as the Wii original, only this time in full HD. A tentative price of US$ 15 was also mentioned.
Meanwhile, Planet Cracker was described as an resource management strategy game where manage a CEC Mining operation. It also has players trying to “maximize their daily profit” and “defending their hard-won ore from Space Pirates.” In-game rewards for Dead Space 2 are also mentioned.
Both the HD Extraction and Planet Cracker were also listed as possible pre-order incentives for Dead Space 2. The contents of the survey are in no way official yet, so we’ll keep this labeled as a rumor for now.
