Portal 2 shows up on EA website, with pricing and pre-order details

Portal 2 is finally and officially listed on Electronic Arts’ website, EA.com. Included in featured listing are pricing details such as a pre-order option. But none for the PlayStation 3.

Portal 2 is finally and officially listed on Electronic Arts’ website, EA.com. Included in featured listing are pricing details such as a pre-order option. But none for the PlayStation 3.

Obviously, if the game is listed on EA’s site, it is then highly likely that they will be the ones publishing the game. That’s not “officially” confirmed yet, though, and by “official” we mean EA calling out the marching band, rolling out the red carpet and unfurling that humongous banner up on the side of their building blatantly proclaiming “We are the publisher for Portal 2.” Or, a discreet listing up on their official website will do.

he release date is still enlisted as “TBA 2010”, but at least we have a window as to the year it will be released. As for the pre-order box:

• PC – $49.95

See what’s missing? Right. No mention of the PS3 anywhere. Good for Mac, though. Still, we don’t want to say that the coffin’s been nailed shut on this one. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear any more updates regarding this.
