Siliconera notes that not only does the trailer below show off some gameplay footage, it also mentions “worldwide online tournaments”. Square Enix wouldn’t be throwing that feature in if they intend to keep Joker 2 Japan only, would they? Only time will tell.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 comes out later this month in Japan.
