Free XBL Gold for day one buyers of MW2 Stimulus Package
Were you one of the uber-excited Modern Warfare 2 gamers who bought the Stimulus Package immediately after it hit the store shelves? Good on you, mate. Because of your immediate purchase, Microsoft’s rewarding you with a full week’s worth of free XBL Gold status (and supposedly as reparation for the problems that came along with the package).

Major Nelson, aka Larry Hryb, made the announcement, tipping off folks to “Check your Live messages” to see if they got the reward. Granted, yes, that the XBL Gold membership was a pre-requisite for the Stimulus Package, another week of it definitely isn’t bad at all, right?
Besides, it’s free. You don’t complain if it’s free.
