Red Hot Chili Peppers getting their own Guitar Hero game?
Dreaming of californication? Well, whether you know what the hell that word means or not, if you heard it from a song, you probably got it from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who might be the next band to get their own music game.

Both Rock Band and Guitar Hero have been signing big name bands up for their own game, and RHCP isn’t really out of candidacy for that part. I’m not doubting that. But what stirred the name into the rumor mill is a simple survey forwarded to Kotaku, indicating that Activision is measuring how game-able the Chili Peppers could be.
“”Celebrate the entirety of the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ life, starting with their early days in LA, to their famous Hyde Park concert to their highly anticipated new studio album,” said the survey. “Discover the story behind their legendary music as you unlock interviews, retrospectives, concert footage and other commentary.”
Should this project come to fruition, you can expect tracks from “By The Way, Californication, Give It Away and the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “upcoming studio album to be released in 2011.”
So, will this one strum your strings?
