Halo: Reach beta will be accessible to XBL Silver members
It sure sucked when Microsoft announced that only Gold members of Xbox Live will have access to the Halo: Reach beta. Not to worry, MS is reversing it to a totally un-sucky moment by announcing that Silver members will in fact also have a chance to test out Reach on XBL, albeit for a very limited time only.

On May 14, 2010, at 9AM PDT, MS will be opening the Reach beta to Silver XBL. You’d want to jump in on the wagon straightaway too cos the beta will be accessible to you Silver ones only until May 19th. The Gold members, on the other hand, are already enjoying their preview of Reach and will continue to do so until May 19th.
Oh, and one last thing. Those who don’t have a Reach beta key can instead head over to Halo 3 and Halo ODST. They’ll be opening up their online modes to everyone.
