Halo: Reach beta hits over 1 million users in its first 24 hours
When Bungie confidently claimed that they’re guessing no less than 3 million will be participating in the beta of Halo: Reach, they definitely knew what they talking about. In just 24 hours since the launch of the beta, over one million players have already logged on to enjoy the game.

The “24 hour” period was recorded to be between the Bank Holiday Monday and Tuesday, at which time an exact figure of 1,170,112 users were found to be playing Halo: Reach beta. In the same period, some 157,972,986 kills were made.
Kudos to that massive display of support for this highly anticipated title! I guess it wouldn’t be too preemptive to congratulate Microsoft and Bungie at this point, then?
