The top 20 games on the DS are there for a reason – people buy them. But when it comes to people that acquire them without coughing up, there’s a list of most-pirated games. On that list, Pokemon Platinum is at the top.

According to the Computer Entertainment Suppliers’ Association, Pokemon Platinum was illegally downloaded a total of 2,071,006 times – not the biggest piracy story out there, but that’s still worth ¥ 9,469 million (US$ 103 million). At number two on that list is another Pokemon game, Diamond, with 1,862,899 downloads.
