The GameStop listing has the standalone device at US$ 149.99. There will also be bundles for the Arcade at US$ 299, or US$ 399 for the Elite Xbox 360.

Aaron Greenberg, however, says that the prices are “purely speculative”. The director of product management for Xbox noted via Twitter that “No Kinect price announced yet, retail price estimates are purely speculative, final price & pack-in details are not yet determined.”

As it is, that’s quite a pricey tag to add motion control to the Xbox 360. The purchase intent for motion control was already seen at 10%, and that’s without confirmed pricing. Anyone up for a splurge?
