Renowed Mortal Kombat series creator Ed Boon is all hyped up with the upcoming release of Mortal Kombat 9.

The return of the nostalgic fighting franchise will be handled by NetherRealm Studios (formerly known as Midway Games). It is currently scheduled to arrive Spring 2011 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
