Interplay have announced that Kurt Hectic’s making a comeback. The poor janitor’s being press-ganged by his boss Dr. Hawkins again to fight aliens in the recently announced remake of MDK 2.
MDK 2 was originally made by BioWare and saw an original release on Dreamcast and PC in 2000. The third-person shooter was then tweaked and released on PS2 a year later as MDK 2: Armageddon.
The remake, which is being prepped for release as a Wii and PC downloadable game, will be out on WiiWare this winter. The HD PC remake doesn’t have a set release date yet, but Beamdog have confirmed that it will be available via their digital distribution service.
